Developing and promoting youth activities is an important part of our church. Here we will discuss what we are doing
to assist in the growth of our youth.
The church offers several activities for our younger members. Some of the more
popular activities are:
* Sunday School
* Kingdom Kids Club (children's church)
* Kingdom Choir
* United Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF)
* Vacation Bible School
* Coed Youth Basketball (Cougars)
Community Service and Mission
Both children and youth participate in numerous mission and community service projects throughout the year including
the collection of toiletries used in building "care kits" for the needy, to raising funds or performing tasks in support
of such programs as: the Montgomery County Community Based Shelter, Shepherd's Table, Souper Bowl of Caring, Church World
Service Crop Walk, Homeless Walk,and Perpetual Prosperity Pumps (collection of gently used tennis shoes and soccer cleats).
